Gat Shomron is a boutique family winery in Karnei Shomron, owned by Anat and Lior Nachum. The winery was founded in 2002 and produced only 2,000 bottles that year. Today, the winery produces some 35,000 bottles annually, and has won many devotees across Israel and all over the world.
Unique, exceptional wines are the raison d’etre of Gat Shomron Winery, which elects to fully express the fine terroir of its vineyards in Samaria, the Galilee, and the Ella Valley by focusing almost exclusively on varietal and single vineyard wines. In addition, the winemakers employ special methods to produce ice wine, late harvest red wine, and wild-fermented wine.
Gat Shomron wines are sold to private customers, restaurants, and wine stores both locally and internationally. All wines are kosher l’mehadrin for Passover.
